This thread is for information and results reguarding the NEW Sony firmware update that is being mailed to owners of the following tv`s: KDL-40XBR2 KDL-46XBR2 KDL-40XBR3 KDL-46XBR3 The 'Uniformity Software Update' is a 64mb flash that is USB 2.0 and is plugged into the service port in the rear of the display. The update is made just for your serial number and will not work on other XBR`s. I have not updated my display, as it resets the tv. All those who have this update or are waiting for your update, please post here. As soon as I have updated mine, I will provide more detailed information.
