ACDSee Pro (Mac) 1.7 Build 389 Release Notes New Features. Processing presets for multistep workflows added to batch workflow tool. Additions to the Process flyout in the context menu of Manage and View modes include Restore to Original, Commit Changes, Copy Settings, Paste Settings, and applying processing presets.

Chromatic Aberration Correction tool added to Process mode. Defringe tool added to Process mode. Vignette Removal tool added to Process mode. Color Management tool added to Process mode.

Import and Export Batch workflow presets. Database Backup and Restore. Embed Database Information and Catalog Files. Custom Sort in Manage mode. Set preferences to show or hide XMP sidecar files. Move to Trash enabled in Full Screen. Quick Start Guide and Help.

Enhancements. Improved performance and stability when browsing large folders, switching modes and processing images.

New overlay icon on thumbnails for Processed images. IPTC Core fields groupings. Navigation improvements in Process mode for the Save, Done and Cancel buttons. Processed RAW files are displayed in Quick Look instead of original RAW files. Status bar improvements in all modes. White Balance and Temperature improvements in Process mode. Fixes.

Batch Convert File Format to PDF does not work and causes program to freeze. When editing database, EXIF or IPTC fields using Batch Set Information, new values are shown only when switching to another image and going back. Copying images directly from Image Capturing Device is not possible. Use File Save as instead. Batch actions for Processed RAW files do not work properly in View mode. It is not possible to tag, rate or assign categories to images using the Edit menu in View mode. It is not possible to rotate PNG files using the rotate buttons in Manage and View mode.

The image appears rotated in ACDSee but it is not rotated when viewed in other applications. Rotate PNG files in Process mode only. The context menu is not shown when right-clicking image in View mode. PPI is not preserved when using the Save As command or when processing images in Process mode. Batch Set Information cannot clear existing IPTC or EXIF values.

Quick Search does not work for all metadata fields. On OS X 10.5.8 only, the first time during any session Quick Search is used all items in the database are returned as results. The workaround is to retype the search again.

On OS X 10.5.8 only, pasting Process mode settings to more than 40 RAW images at a time does not work and the application shuts down. Printing processed RAW files does not work properly. Original unprocessed RAW file is printed instead.

ACDSee database information (ratings, captions, categories, keywords) are not preserved when copying and pasting a folder to a new location, or when using Batch Resize. Batch Resize will cause ACDSee to hang if applied to more than 100 large (more than 10 MB) images at a time. When RAW files are converted to JPEG, TIFF or PNG, any existing IPTC information is not saved with the converted file. If an image is processed on an external device, ejecting that device using ACDSee results in an error warning.

I have tried for years to find a way to convert the files that all start with DCP but have not been able to find any software that can do it. I miss him so much, it would be like seeing him again to be able to have photos of him that I have never seen.

Can anyone help me?.FPX is a file format supported by the free IrfanView image viewer program. You need to download and install the program and the plugins. You can then view the.FPX files and save them as.JPG files. MarksMom wrote: I followed the posted advice and downloaded IrfanView with all the plug-ins and tried to convert the files and got the following error message with each one. Can't read the file header.

Unknown file format, empty/damaged file or file not found. I'm broken hearted, the CD must be bad. Thank you for your help everyone. Don't give up yet. Let us do some leg-work for you.

It's unlikely the cd is damaged (although that may be the case). It's more a case of associating that file format with the correct program. Any ideas, group? You might try this: I know absolutely nothing about this website, or whether the conversion would work or not, but you might try one of your files to see what you could get. I might copy the files to a folder on your hard drive just to have two copies available. If you google 'fpx to jpg file conversion,' you'll get some more ideas for solutions to try. I tried looking on eBay for an old Kodak camera that would have used the Picture Easy software (and would come with a CD), but the only thing I turned up was a DC-290, and I don't think that software would work.

It looks like you'd need to look for a DC-210 with a CD. It wouldn't really matter whether the camera worked or not since you just want the software. Here's another one I found that might open them. In case you have not been successful with the other suggestions, there is another option.

There is an old software package called Ulead Photo Express that natively supported the.fpx format. I used it many years ago. It is still available as a free download. The really neat feature is the batch adjust, which allows the user to select all files and kick off a batch conversion of all files to jpeg (make sure to bump up the output quality to best).

I recently had about 600.fpx image files to convert and used the software from this download to install on an old XP laptop. Everything worked great.

The catch is that the software is really old and is listed to work on operating systems up through Windows 7 (likely won't work on Windows 8, 8.1 or 10). AndFarr wrote:.fpx files are supported on the last version of Ulead's PhotoImpact x3. That program is still available for purchase on the Corel.com website. ( go to productsPhoto Editing & Digital Imaging PhotoImpact X3 ) It is available as a download so you can get the program immediately. It is an older program, but still works on the newer versions of Windows. 'It is available as a download so you can get the program immediately'. On YouTube, there is a video claiming to provide a 'crack' for this program.

At best, this is totally unethical if not downright illegal and anyone trying it will almost certainly get a virus. YouTube is rapidly becoming a repository for junk. There is nothing.NOTHING free on the Internet. Sir Corey of Deane wrote: On YouTube, there is a video claiming to provide a 'crack' for this program. There are free things BUT they come with attachments and conditions. I'm in total agreement with you, Robert, regarding the ethics of 'cracking' licenses and trying to circumvent paying for the program.
