I have several external hard drives with lots of junk that I was hoping to use Disk Doctor on, but only the startup drive and folders on that drive can be scanned. It seems that you are only allowed to select the folder you want to work on the first time you start the app. After that it will only scan that location. If you want to change the location to a different folder on the startup drive, you must use a terminal command to erase the Disk Doctor preferences. This seems to be an unnecessary limitation. None of the other disk cleaning apps I have are so limited.
